
To commemorate the 125th anniversary of French fashion designer Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel’s birth, Karl Lagerfield presents 5 Euro coins designed by him at the Hotel de la Monnaie, the national mint responsible for making official coins and medals. Lagerfeld is one of the greatest designers of today, just like the legendary Coco Chanel was, who started and marked the fashion scene of last century.

When you think of Black Friday, the first thing that comes to mind is shopping. Nike and sneaker guru DJ Clark Kent created a special edition Black Friday Air Force 1 sneaker that is scheduled to drop this month.
DJ Clark Kent stated, “So I went to the fabric library, picked the prime suspects and went to work on the design,” “The end result…Something Black, Luxurious & Fly, and FRESH!!!! What better way to start the holiday shopping season?!?!”
The Black Friday Nike Air Force 1 will drop this Black Friday, November 28th exclusively at three locations: Nike Sportswear at 21 Mercer Street in NYC (starting at 4am), followed by Concepts in Boston and Shoe Gallery in Miami later in the day. DJ Clark Kent is scheduled to appear at all three locations for the release.

NikeiD Bespoke is a new and innovative by appointment design experience offering consumers the opportunity to work one-on-one with Nike design consultants to customize select Nike footwear styles. Globally exclusive to 21 Mercer, Nike Sportswear’s first stand-alone retail space located in SoHo, New York, it is the natural evolution of Nike’s personalization and customization offering, first brought to consumers with NikeiD.com in 1999.

Last week Reebok opened the doors to their flash pop up store in New York. Formavision designed a retro, pop look with a nice play on depth and perspective. The store will remain open until December 15th. More pics below.

The second installment of the Bad Brains and Supreme series will consist of two t-shirts and a hooded sweatshirt. All items were produced from original artwork supplied by Bad Brains. The collection will be available at the NY, LA and web stores on November 24th. Available in Japan store locations on November 29th. Additionally, F/W 08 third delivery t-shirts will also be released.

NYC artists Kaws added his signature style to Kanye’s upcoming album “808’s & Heartbreak.” customized pieces will come with the itunes version of the album and will also be released in stores on December 16th as a special Christmas Package.
